The Georgetown Prep Tennis page shows all Impact Team Tennis leagues (for outdoor and indoor) being offered throughout the year that are being offered by WATA at Georgetown Prep Tennis Center.

Social doubles or singles play is offered indoors on Friday nights.

There are several formats of play during the indoor season: Singles play and men’s or women’s or mixed doubles play depending on the night. You can sign up as an individual (no need to find a tennis partner) or you can join with a group of your friends. The maximum number of players per night is four and you get to play for two hours. The different lengths of play are for 15-week period or a 10-week period or a 5-week period. The age groups are broken up into three groups: Doubles play Age 50 and above, Doubles play young professionals Age 21 to 39 and singles play by level.

What is Impact Team Tennis?

Impact Team Tennis is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of men’s and women’s doubles followed by men’s and women’s singles, ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. What is an Impact Team Tennis team?

Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women. A minimum team consists of two men and two women.

Who can play?

Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team or as an individual.

Levels of play offered are:

• 3.0 and under
• 3.5 and under
• 4.0 and under
• 4.5 and under
